FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – U.S.A. Veterans and Military Support Foundation has recently partnered with Ocean State Job Lot to distribute over 100,000 bottles of hand sanitizer to veterans and active-duty military members.

U.S.A. Veterans and Military Support Foundation will distribute the hand sanitizer bottles to VFW chapters across New England and to children of veteran and military families going back to school.

“Personal Protective Equipment is oftentimes an expensive requirement,” said U.S.A. Veterans and Military Support Foundation President Don Cox. “We’re happy to help the families of veterans and military members offset the cost of returning to their jobs and schools and we thank Ocean State Job Lot for their continued support of our military families.”

Combined with over 100,000 KN95 masks and face shields, Ocean State Job Lot has provided approximately $1 million in in-kind support for veterans across the northeast region of the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ocean State Job Lot’s partnership and support of U.S.A. Veterans and Military Support Foundation spans many years and projects, starting with Coats4Vets, an initiative to make sure veterans are safe from the unforgiving winter weather. Since then, Ocean State Job Lot has helped to fund projects supplying boots to veterans and active-duty military members, as well as backpacks, school supplies and holiday presents to their families.

For six years they’ve stood tall and helped support our veteran population’s every need,” says Cox. “From supplying coats and Christmas gifts in the winter, to food and other resources during the government shutdown and the COVID-19 pandemic, they’re always there for us and we’re thrilled to have them as a partner.”
